Jag fick möjligheten att arbeta med Kulturhuset Bergsjön, ett andra vardagsrum för människor i området. Huset används flitigt för studier, för att delta i kreativa workshops eller bara för att hänga.
Eftersom själva byggnaden var det centrala ville jag arbeta med de fysiska förutsättningarna i rummet och skapa ett alternativt fotografi till arkivet. Det resulterade i två temporära konstverk, tekniskt och visuellt olika men under samma koncept: Hur kan jag fånga det som inte syns i ett fotografi?
I en slutlig display sydde jag scarfsar av tyget som fått hänga i rummet och fånga essensen av Kulturhuset. Jag lade dem i arkivboxar, ett sätt att skapa ett alternativt arkivföremål.

I got the opportunity to work with Kulturhuset Bergsjön, a second living room for the people in the area, and it is widely visited for studying, hanging out, or taking part in craft workshops.
Since the building itself was such an important place, I wanted to work with the physical place and create an alternative photograph to the archives. It resulted in two different temporary artworks, visually and technically different but bound together by the same concept: How do we capture what doesn’t show up in a photograph?
In a final display, I sewed scarves of the fabric, placing them in archival boxes as an act of creating an alternative archival item.
